Lonsdale Quay C41 Coffee

Made a lovely discovery in the Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver on the weekend: C41 Coffee. What drew my attention was their photo contest displayed on the back wall.

I learned that on display are the September contest contenders. You can vote for your favourite (and be entered into the draw for a free coffee!). September's theme was "Night Photography" and in case you're thinking of submitting an entry, October's is "Music and Dance" :)

I highly recommend taking a lot at the contest candidates - some great pictures there!

From the Lonsdale Quay Market 'Meet the Merchant':

"The great part about this coffee shop is that it serves drinks in compostable cold cups and recyclable packaging for hot drinks. If you follow C41 on their Instagram, you’ll see beautiful shots of their coffee as well! But what you might not know is that Andy himself used to be a photographer, before opening the shop. Hence, the name C41 was selected as it is a film developing process used about 20 years ago."

At the Quay, they have a very small sitting area, but of course the food court has a lot of space - not to mention a great view over the water. The soy chai latte I had was very flavourful with a slight green cardamom taste - just right!
